Vivo Y100 5G is a 5G smartphone with six 5G bands. It comes with MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset, 64MP(OIS) anti-shake primary camera, 16MP selfie camera, and 4500mAh battery with 44W fast charger.

Vivo Y100 5G Design

Vivo Y100 5G is available in three colors – Metal Black, Twilight Gold, and Pacific Blue. Its dimensions are 159 x 73.53 x 7.73 mm. It is a lightweight(181g) and slim(7.73mm) smartphone.

It has a triple rear camera setup in dual rings with LED flash. These two rings are present in the squared-shaped box of glassy panels. This gives a somewhat unique design to the phone.

Unique design along with color-changing AG glass technology imparts mobile phone premium looks.

The smartphone has negligible bezels and a waterdrop notch in the front. It comes with a single speaker and a 3.5mm audio jack. It has a hybrid dual SIM card tray that can accommodate two SIMs or a SIM plus microSD card.

Display

Vivo Y100 5G has 6.3 inches 90Hz Full HD+ AMOLED display with flat edges. The display supports a high frame rate and multitasking.

It has HDR10+ certification and a peak brightness of 1300 nits. 1300 nits give very good indoor as well as outdoor brightness.

Slight bezels are present along with a waterdrop notch for the front camera.

Vivo Y100 5G Camera

The phone comes with a rear triple camera (64MP+2MP+2MP) and a single selfie camera of 16MP.

64MP primary camera has inbuilt Optical Image Stabilization(OIS). The other two cameras are of 2MP- 2MP(macro) and 2MP(depth) cameras.

Decent quality photos can be clicked with primary as well as with selfie cameras. But don’t expect much from 2MP cameras.

Performance

Vivo Y100 5G is equipped with MediaTek Dimensity 900 processor. This ensures 5G cellular connectivity and a smooth user experience. MTK D900 is also good for an average and smooth gaming experience.

While gaming in a moderate setting, Vivo Y100 5G does not show any jitters, frame drops, or lags. The phone may heat slightly but it will not overheat. Its gyroscope works properly. The phone provides a little bit better performance than average while gaming.

MTK D900 is good for the average level of gaming experience but is not enough for high-end daily gaming.

Funtouch OS13 based on Android 13 comes out of the box.

Battery

The phone comes with a 4500mAh with 44W fast Charger.

It takes about an hour to fully charge the mobile phone from 0% to 100%.
