The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 5G is a budget smartphone with a 120Hz 6.67-inch super AMOLED display, 7band 5G connectivity, Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 chipset, a 5000mAh battery that supports 33W fast charging, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It has a 48MP primary and a 13MP selfie sensor.
The Redmi Note 12 5G is an April 2023 smartphone released by Xiaomi.
It has a large 6.67-inch 120Hz FHD+ Super AMOLED display with 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution. Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 6nm chipset powers Redmi Note 12 5G. It runs on Android 12 with MIUI 13 UI.
The phone has three variants 4GB/6GB RAM with 128GB storage and 8GB with 256GB storage. It has a hybrid dual SIM slot. It has a shared microSD slot that can extend the storage up to 1TB. It supports dual 5G SIMs.
It has a triple camera setup, which includes a 48MP (F1.8) primary camera, 8MP (F2.4) ultrawide, and a 2MP (F2.4) macro sensor. A 13MP (F2.45) front camera is in the display’s punch-hole. The Redmi Note 12 5G has a 5000mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 5G is available in three colors: Frosted Green, Matte Black, and Mystique Blue. It has a plastic build with a flat frame design. The phone is a lightweight smartphone weighing only 188 grams.
On the front, the phone has small bezels and a front camera in a punch-hole. It has a triple camera setup in two large and small rings on the back. These rings and LED flash are present in a squarish box.
Some other design features included are a Type-C slot, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a Hybrid Dual SIM tray, dual noise canceling microphone, an infrared sensor, and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Display

Camera
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 12 5G has a triple rear camera setup with a 48MP primary sensor. The triple camera module also includes 8MP ultrawide camera and a 2MP macro camera. The 13MP front camera is present in a punch-hole on display.
Performance-wise, the phone’s 48MP primary camera, and a 13MP selfie camera are acceptable, if not the best.
Both side cameras support video recording at 1080@30fps. The rear camera can also shoot 1080@30fps at an ultrawide angle.

The RAM and Storage may vary with the variant you choose. It has three RAM options (4GB, 6GB, and 8GB) and two storage options (128GB and 256GB). The 256GB storage is only possible with 8GB RAM.
It has LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage.

As far as gaming is concerned, the phone is suitable for casual gaming only. The gaming supporting features of the phone are Snapdragon 4 Gen 1, 5G connectivity, 6GB or 8GB RAM, 120Hz screen refresh rate, an AMOLED screen, and a 5000mAh battery.
The phone has dual graphite-sheet-based thermal cooling. But, it lacks a liquid cooling system, so that some heating issues may occur during long gaming.
